Winter Piece

Thanks for the comments on "scrap" vs "remnant" yesterday. Now, I just need help to know how to reply to comments.

This is the beginning of the next piece in the series. I had pieced the background awhile back for a different purpose but like how it works for this. I want it to have a winter look which is challenging to do now since the leaves are just beginning to show color. The trees are ironed over freezer paper and the trunks will be also and tucked behind the trees when I decide what fabric to use for them. Thanks Carol for the remnant for the middle tree.

Hi Julie,
First thanks for your comment on my blog. Nice.

Also, I like this little piece too, and maybe this will spark something from the blues in my stash!
