OK - I had to look up the correct name for this and came up with Clava.
It's really just a 15 minute project that's like a hoodie without the sweatshirt!
I had a pattern years ago but used my old clava to make one that
sewed up very quickly. It was great for today's windy day walk with my dog.

Wonderful idea, Julie. There's always space between the hat and scarf where the cold can slip in.
