A fun part of creating a piece where the components are somewhat random is that you can add coping strips here and there and make the puzzle work. These squares and coping strips were fused together onto the release paper that comes with the fusible web. The borders are next.

I like the layout and the fusing idea...so it is actually pre-fused together before being fused to fabric? Cool. How big is this piece?
