After looking at store made dish towels
being over priced and not the colors I desired,
I purchased a plain dish towel and embellished it to suit me.
I machine appliqued a fun batik fabric with circles
on it for the flowers then added buttons.
The ribbon is fused to itself on the bottom
then stitched with decorative stitch.

This is a wonderful idea, Julie. Very timely too...this afternoon I purchased some of the yummy toweling fabric from Waechter Fine Fabrics in Asheville. I can see embellishments already!
ohh, pretty! same color as my dish towels. :)
Cute idea, taking the circles out of the fabric.
