In a bold moment, OK, I did pray about it, but in a bold moment, I agreed to make one of the blocks for the Blue Ridge Parkway 75th Anniversary Quilt which will hang in the Folk Art Center. Hubby and I honeymooned camping in Blue Ridge Parkway over 30 years ago and have camped still many times since, so I naturally think of camping when I think of the Parkway.
There's trees to add and maybe a black bear. It's due very soon....what was I thinking!

Oh my my!I don't like black bears! Ok, they are ok in the zoo!
oh dang it! I wish I knew about that challenge. I would have loved to make something for it. We spend time in the Blue Ridge at least 3 or 4 times a year. In fact, we're going at the end of next month. So far so good with this block - oh yes do add a bear or two! I do love bears!!!!
