Instead of merely ending a seam using a scrap of fabric to collect the threads ~ I call that a "Mouse" ~ I use remnants from the batik bin to catch the threads, sew a short seam and after 4 times, they create these Free Style Cobblestone blocks that go into my stash for another creative adventure.

Good idea. Doing two things at once that way! This will be a fun stash of blocks to put together when it out grows the bin.
