As a teen, my room was yellow,
Yellow was one of the colors for my wedding,
(not sure why I combined that with peach...hmm)
and since Hubby's favorite color is yellow,
now our bedroom is yellow.
Yellow is a happy yet bold color which is why I like it
contrasting with the blue re purposed strips in this piece
which I posted about here.
Machine quilting has begun.

This is going to be great! I love how the blue accents the yellow. Looks almost like an ocean with glimmering sandy shores on both edges.
The peach is a good addition--gives depth and adds interest. I'm always surprised at how beautiful simple shapes can be.
I love yellow too, and that blue and yellow quilt is amazing!!
Love this Julie! My new kitchen has pale yellow walls, and a blue island. I need something blue as an accent to the island. I like the idea of using yellow in it too!
