PDF Pattern Creating - A Friend Loves At All Times

I've begun the process of creating  PDF patterns
from some of my more
popular designs of Quilted Wall Art.
This 16 inch X 10 inch composition
is quick enough to create this weekend
as a thoughtful and meaningful gift
for someone special.
Batik fabrics are my choice although it would be
nice in other fabrics as well. Stay tuned.

Hope & Time

After receiving an invitation to a Vision Board Party
and an inquiring as to my "word" for this year,
I began to pray about a particular word for 2015,
 something I've not done previously.
I felt 2 words rise in my spirit, Hope and Time.
Magazine photos, page from hymnal and Watch face mounted
onto a re-purposed book jacket.
This was a fun project  with fun people
and this  resulting Vision Board will reside in my studio
to remind me to have HOPE
and that God is Perfect TIMEing.

Fabric Pyramid Class Project

While visiting recently, my grand daughter mentioned her class project
of creating a pyramid and the ideas she already had.
I suggested a fabric pyramid and she excitedly headed for my scrap bag.
She  traced the shape her dad had created onto fusible stabilizer,
choose fun fabrics, ironed them, then while in my lap,  machine quilted  her creation.
She/We were delighted with the end result.

Hand rust dyed fabrics, hand applique and embroidery,

Cranes & Red Circles - Soul Collage Card

As part of a Soul Collage Workshop,  instructions were given to look through  magazines seeking either an animal or person that stood out to us.  I chose these 2 cranes. Next came  thought provoking questions as to why we chose this photo. Onward to  choose a background.  I originally thought to piece a background together until I came across this one of layered red and white fabrics.More thought provoking questions and finally adhering the creation to a card.
"I am one who is a leader that  seeks to gracefully look up in hope and  in community
 calling out for truth.
I have courage to go forth remembering that simplicity is good.
I will stay committed that this is possible and will be reminded when I see red circles"
