Hand Embroidery Seed Stitches

Adding blue hand quilting and blue embroidered "seed" stitches
to this composition is so relaxing.
It's also going quickly so I'm already thinking
of my next "hand" project.....hand dyed fabric?

The Button Florist

I had the awesome opportunity to visit the studio of
and enjoy looking through some of her extensive button collection,
hear her stories of obtaining them and see her eyes light us as she
told of creating artistic bouquets from them.
Celia also creates her own ceramic buttons
that she hand stamps, glazes and fires.  They are gorgeous.
And for the leaves she uses felted wool.
The bouquets are amazing as decor but she also creates Wedding Bouquets!!
I hope you'll check out her site.
Thanks for the photos  Gabrielle Dearman.

Spring Or More Snow?

I really enjoy creating Free Style Cobblestone blocks without a particular plan,
adding them to my stash for later combinations.
With hopes of Spring and warmer weather this week,
it's time for a bit of Spring Art with some pink and green batik fabrics.

"The Season Of Singing Has Come" Song of Solomon 2:12 is subtly hand embroidered around one of the Free Style Cobblestone blocks and I thread sketched in black an overlaying tulip. Ah Spring, I hope it is truly your season.
Available in my ETSY SHOP.

Framed Wedding Art

"No longer two but one" Matthew 19:6 is probably
my favorite verse for a wedding gift. I've had the components of this made but finally put it all together recently and am offering it for sale.
This ornately framed Wedding Quilted Art is perfect for a couples new life together.
Hand embroidered & hand quilted "No longer two but one" Matthew 19:6 is matted and ready to wrap.
Measuring 11 1/2 inches X 11 1/2 inches with hanging wire make this an easy gift.
