Usually I try and mark the fabric with lines similar to a child's first writing tablet to give a basic plan before embroidering a Bible verse on a piece. Often this is a challenge even considering a plethora of marking tools. This time I am trying a basting stitch - except the few lines where my machine switched back to a smaller stitch for some reason. I'm hopeful it will work and removal of the stitching will be fine.
This must be a part of the Rejoice quiltie! Good luck with the basting.

It sounds like a good idea. Did it work?
