I used an inexpensive plastic tablecloth back to lay out the hand appliqued blocks.
It is a wonderful portable design wall.
After much time hand piecing the blocks together
and adding a flange edge and border,
it's sandwiched and ready to hand quilt.

i love this design....and i agree with elizabeth about the spirals, but whatever you do will be fabulous! your tablecloth idea is a great one!! :)
