Blogger's Quilt Festival Fall 2009 is sponsored by Park City Girl. My entry began with a repurposed batik piece and other batik fabric were built around that. The flower, also repurposed from a skirt is embellished with a screen swirl and black beading. The verse, "Wait for the LORD, be strong and take heart, and wait for the LORD." Psalm 27:14 is hand embroidered. Hand quilted and machine signed signature. This one of my favorite pieces.
