Crafty Dad

Made from oak chair railing, this candle holder which I use in celebrating Advent with purple, pink and white votive candles was made by my crafty Dad.

I began hand sewing around age 9 and received my first sewing machine at age 12 as a Christmas gift. I still enjoy the combination of machine and hand sewing and am inspired by living in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
