Waiting rooms are the perfect setting to get some hand work done.

Quench not the Spirit - I Thessalonians 5:19 and

several french knots, x's etc were added to this fused

wall quilt. Now it's ready for machine quilting.

I began hand sewing around age 9 and received my first sewing machine at age 12 as a Christmas gift. I still enjoy the combination of machine and hand sewing and am inspired by living in the mountains of Western North Carolina. My fine fabric art is primarily re-purposed batik and hand dyed fabrics enhanced with hand and machine quilting, mixed media techniques to create one-of-a kind art pieces.
