February Art Daily 26

The pistil stitch is new to me.
 I like how it adds texture  to this
strip fused red batik and hem tape
leaf hand embroidered on
purple batik fabric.
5 inches X 7 inches.

    that's very nice! I had never heard the name "pistil stitch" before -- is it just a french knot with a long tail?

    Kathy - yes, a pistil Stitch is basically a french know with a tail. I saw it online and liked the texture of it. Not sure if you realized that your comment came as a "noreply".
