I finished up this bird composition from a workshop with Jane DaVila yesterday. 

Great teacher - great workshop.

Today's bird is screen fiber hand embroidered in navy floss with twisted batik fabric legs

, paper and fabric collage on hand dyed fabric.

 Notice "vogel vogel" (German for bird - bird) quilted to the right side.
