Orange/Red Slow Stitched Bird

When reorganizing my hand painted fabrics, I came across this

Orange/Red piece I created using Pebeo Setacolor paint and

rice and grass as a resist. 

The red paint was just in the right spot for a bird's head.

I chose "X" for the bird's stand. 

I'm still enjoying slow stitching  birds.
