Color Lifting Results

The color lifting added sufficient  interest to the background
teal fabric before I hand appliqued the purple squiggles.
I'm thinking I'll machine quilt in colors to
add more interest to this piece.

Color Lifting Fun

This piece began quickly to have something to
hand sew at a Fiber Arts meeting.
However, after visiting another fiber artist,
I chose to first add some interest to the background fabric
using some Decolourant as a "Color Lifter"
The first squiggles were created using an art gum eraser I carved and
now I free handed some lines around the squiggle sections and
used a clean humus container lip around the circles.
Now to wait until it dries to iron to lift out the color.
