Still Working

Still machine quilting this piece.  It was popular during the EAST Studio Tour.

Demos -Free Style Cobblestone Block

What a fun weekend on the EAST Studio Tour.  Here's some of the blocks that I created from my batik remnant bin during demos in my Choose Life Studio throughout the weekend.  I'll add them to my stash for now and bring them out another day to create a wall hanging, or maybe embellish a dish towel, hand made card....we'll see.

Valance - Batik - Of Course

Motivation comes in many forms.  Finally painting the kitchen and putting up new valances and rods are all side benefits of preparing for the East of Asheville Studio Tour this coming weekend.  Note to self: it's probably easier to pick a paint color to match the valence fabric than the other way around.  However, with all the wonderful batik fabrics available...it worked out.

EAST of Asheville Studio Tour

I am excited to be a part of the upcoming EAST of Asheville Studio Tour October 9 & 10.  Check out the informative web page.
I am thankful to have Michele, whom I loving call, "My personal interior decorator" who works for lunch and hugs - NO she's not available!! LOL  She has lovingly arranged my pieces for my gallery tour.  Family photos will return following the tour :)   Thanks Michele.
