for my son and his bride, 

a viewer wanted something similar

for her son and  bride in the form

of  Quilted Art on a book jacket

which I am working on currently.

Machine Writing Isaiah 41:10

 I had the recent privilege to add the encouragement of Isaiah 41:10 to this beautiful quilt that was created by another quilter

that a thoughtful group of women went together in to bless their friend who is beginning chemotherapy.

This miniature was given a ribbon at our local State Fair. Woohoo! My first ribbon EVER!!

Machine Writing Label

I used some masking tape to create lines

to keep the machine writing on

this label fairly straight.

First time I've machine written

a label.

Verse Added

This verse is tiny but it's on a miniature piece.
I had to rip out and redo a few
places but now it's good.

Fair Price?

Buttons added, machine signed, hanging sleeve on and label too.

What a great feeling to completely finish a project!

Question: What would be a fair price for this piece?

It's 14 1/2 inches X 21 inches.

Buttons Or Not?

Machine quilting is complete.

Would button embellishments be too much?

Would another type of embellishment be better?

Verse Machine Written

After practicing on a muslin practice piece (placed near art piece to get space perspective, I used this new to me soap stone marking pen to create the boundaries to machine write the verse,

"The joy of the LORD is my strength." and then the reference Nehemiah 8:10 on the bottom border.
