Orange Snap Tape HeART Addition & Day 19 A Block A Day Challenge

Snap tape intrigues me

and since I recently obtained a baggie full of it,

I folded and embroidered it down on

 this Orange Embroidered HeART as a surprise element

amidst lots of hand embroidery.

It's available in my ETSY Shop. 

Only 19 days into this challenge, A Block A Day,

it's tempting to feel like my progress is too slow.

I keep reminding myself -

"slow progress is still progress".

Orange HeART & Day 18 A Block A Day Challenge

Orange is not my "go to" color but every now and then

I like to create something orange from 

my orange batik remnants.

Embroidery of a vine with flowers on the grey section

along with Running Stitch in middle right section.

Red Quilted HeART & Day 13 A Block A Day Challenge

Lots of embroidery stitching on this red, black and white

Quilted HeART.  I had fun with the unique stitching of  the

 3 subtle black buttons

with red embroidery floss.

Day 10 A Block A Day Challenge & Another HeART

Striped light purple and marbled green

Since 2 Quilted HeARTs were donated to Have A HeART,

2 Quilted HeARTs went into the Gallery at The Hub

and 2 Quilted HeARTS are heading to Twigs And Leaves Gallery,

I chose to begin another one since they are so much fun.

Managed 2 blocks on this cold, cold day.

I also have been doing more hand embroidery

and finished up this Quilted Art HeART which 

has been mounted on a 10 inch X 10 inch

Cranberry & Teal Embroidered Quilted Heart Progress

Using a client's favorite colors of teal & cranberry,

I've been adding lots of embroidery to this 

quilted heart.

There's teal Seed Stitch, Feather Stitch, Cranberry

Colonial Knots, Running Stitch and light yellow

Sprout Stitches.  

Great way to relax in the evenings and continue with

the #ayearinstitches.
