Circa 1990's Quilt Complete | Seven Sisters Quilt Pattern Variation

The binding is complete and label added to this vintage beauty for my client.

Her grandma began it circa 1990s before she died.

What a privilege to finish it for use now.

Friends said it is probably a variation of the Seven Sisters quilt pattern.

Slow progress is still progress!

Hand finishing the back of this hexagon binding has begun.

Multi Point Edge Quilt Binding | Seven Sisters Quilt Pattern

I believe it's good to learn something new every day.

I have learned (via an online video) how to apply a hexagon edge binding

for this vintage quilt with inside corners.

It's a slow and methodical process

but isn't that the beauty of hand made quilts anyway.

Seven Sisters Quilt Completion Project

This beautiful antique quilt is also from a client's great grandmother

who was unable to complete it. And after I do a bit of hand quilting,

I will add a green binding.
