Laggard Hummingbird
A hummingbird surprisingly is still here
even with the temperatures dipping into the low 60's today.
A "laggard" as my friend Heather states.

Mother's Day Bird Fiber Art Wall Hanging - SOLD
were such fun. I've begun the process of using them to
create small works of art for sale.
This black hand embroidered Hummingbird is on
hand painted blue/yellow fabric over screen fiber.
The hummingbird is sewn to a hand dyed curved pieced
background with "fly - fly - fly" machine quilted as accent.
Painted circles complete the composition.
It will be mounted on a black cradle board.
This one sold as a Mother's Day gift but there are more for
sale here. $40
