Happy Shoes Info

Many left a comment about these fun hand painted shoes but some were left as anonymous or no reply comments.  I used regular artists acrylic paints mixed with fabric extender and sealed them with TuffKote. (Took a few days to cure)

I'd be glad to offer a workshop should anyone want to try their hand at the fun.

Mail Art / #11 Siesta Scripture Memory Team

Creating Mail Art was such fun with a young visitor recently.  The river scene came after they asked me what was one of my favorite places.  Fun times.

4 Babies 1 Shower

A group baby shower for 4 expectant parents where 3 girls and 1 boy are anticipated.

Children are a gift from God - Psalm 127:3.

2001 Siesta Scripture Memory Team Update / #7, #8, #9, #10 Siesta Scripture Memory Verses

Fabric remnants are just the right size to add embellishment to my 2011 Siesta Scripture Memory Team Index Spiral Cards.

Although, I'm really behind on posting progress on this, "thanks" to Jon Acuff, author of Quitter -Closing The Gap Between Your Day Job & Your Dream Job, I've chosen to use Sundays to post about the verses I'm hiding in my heart as part of the 2011 Siesta Scripture Memory Team.  First a little catch up:

More Blessed to Give Challenge Updates On Saturdays

While reading Jon Acuff's book - Quitter  (that's quitter not quilter) Closing The Gap Between Your Day Job &  Your Dream Job, and much prayer of how to get back to posting about my More Blessed To Give Challenge, I've chosen to use Saturdays to post about that.  It will take a few times to catch up but hopefully will inspire others to seek the blessing of giving also. 

#18, #19, #20, #21,#22 were all Quilted Art Fabric Bowls that I didn't get a photo of before sending to the craft shop at the New Direction Farm ministry.

#23 was a child's quilt that was delivered to Grandfather Home For Childrent to give to a young girl.  Their discression.

Student Bowl & Mail Art

 Orange and blue were the colors chosen by this young student, fairly new to a sewing machine, to try her hand at a fabric wrapped bowl.  What a wonderful job.

We also did some Mail Art.  No inhibitions here.  Great job!
