Hanging A Fiber Art Wall Quilt

This  Picture  Molding section is painted  my kitchen wall color
making it an easy way that to hang my Fiber Art Wall Quilts.
Picture Molding Hooks fit nicely over the molding.
"Vision"  was an Art Quilt I created as part of a group  challenge
to only use fabrics we currently owned.
Of course I went to my batik remnants and had a blast!
Tiny blue batik fabrics combine with Bull's Eye Blocks

in this intricately pieced and machine quilted piece.
Whimsical borders add to this unique Quilted Wall Art.

"But my eyes are fixed on You, O Sovereign Lord."
Psalm 141:8
is the focus for this Quilted Art Wall Hanging that measures
approximately 24 inches X 22 inches. $340

Fluffy Pink Knitted Preemie Hat

With all the snow, there's more
time to play in the yarn.
I'm not sure how I feel about this extra fluffy yarn
but I'm guessing some Mommy will love it on
her little Preemie Baby in the local Neo Natal Unit.

Boys & Love Valentines Fabric Art Cards

Little boys loves trucks.
OK big boys love  trucks too.
These trucks are similar to the ones I created last year
for my 6 grandsons but I'm guessing
the more trucks the better.
Of course, I wanted to create a heart Valentine Day Card
with the remaining black/white geometric fabric.
Fabric Postcards are so much fun!

More Valentine's Day Fabric Art Post Card Kits

Valentine's Day is a favorite of mine and I've created Mail Quilted Art Valentines for sell for many years. After they are sent through the mail, many are framed to be seen year round.
And now, I'm offering Valentine's Day Fabric Art Post Card KITS!
Each Kit creates ONE Valentine Post Card and each Kit varies.
Each individual Kit includes 2 hand dyed fabric hearts, 2 "button", and ribbon which are all already ready with fusible webbing. Printed white background fabric easily fuses to the stabilizer with a hot iron. Kit also includes matching embroidery floss and needle. You are ready to create!!
Due to the way they are especially created, these Fabric Valentines can go though the mail without an envelope using a handling postage stamp.
They can later be framed....or just played with as my grand daughters like to do.
Valentine's Day is a perfect time to give a small Quilted Art gift to that special someone and relate feelings of love and encouragement.
So easy to mail alone with a Hand Canceled postage stamp or in an envelope.
When completed, this 4" X 6" small piece Quilted Art can later be framed to continue to encourage.
Great Valentine's Day or Just Because. Julie BagamaryArt For Sale

Asymmetrical Pieced Heart With Black Backgrounds

Wedding Funky Hearts - Love Is Of God Wall Quilt
As part of a Miniature Bee Group
in 2002, I participated in a Quilt Strip Exchange.
This was such a fun challenge and resulted in a unique Quilted Art Piece.
I created a small hand sewn journal
 with my personal guidelines.
At the same time I was creating Quilt Strips for other members
using their guidelines as well.

Completed - New Sewing Machine Cover

I  finished my new sewing machine cover!
Pockets on each side and 1 large pocket in the back
to hold the small extension table.
And since I re-purposed a practice
machine quilting piece
(muslin /batting/ muslin)
the inside has it's own personality.

New Sewing Machine Cover

I've been clearing out and paring down things at home
and now in my Studio.  So recently, while listening to
who has great ideas. So when  Kathi said,
"I'm going to keep what I care about and I'm going to care about what I keep",
I chose to finally replace  my plastic red
sewing machine cover that came with my machine.
I prefer one that is more modern to go with the subdued decor of neutral
and one that  doesn't scream"look at me".
Now I'm quilting this grey fabric and hopefully it
will piece together well.  I've changed the design a bit
with a top opening for the handle.
Stay tuned.  Not my favorite type of project.

Fabric Valentines

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays.
It's a great opportunity to talk of true love and
express it to others as well.
For many years I've created Fabric Valentines and mailed them
to my husband and kids.
I've also offered workshops so that others
can create them as well.
These are going to a local gift shop
and I plan to create more to sell in my Etsy Shop.
Stay tuned.

Have a HeArt for Big Brothers Big Sisters 2016

When I heard about the
fundraiser for the
Have a HeArt for Big Brothers Big Sisters
I began to create a plan.
Since I've wanted to try out Melody Johnson's
method of mounting her small Quilted Art Pieces,
 had already gathered the supplies,
and wanted to use another section from my Scrap Vortex adventure
I rescued paper from the recycle bin and began creating.
Will you join me and create some HeArt?
It's due January 19, 2016.

2016 Siesta Scripture Memory - Happy New Year

There are still about half the pages remaining in this
2011 Siesta Scripture Memory Team spiral note card book
since I used the front and back of the note cards when I
originally used it.
So, to begin 2016 , my verse is
Ephesians 5:15, 16
Pay careful attention, then to how to walk - not as unwise people but as wise -
make the most of the time, because the days are evil."
Happy New Year
