My Other "HAND" Wall Art Hanging - A Miniature

Created as a Miniature Block exchange,
we each made a miniature hand block
and signed it for each member of the group.
I chose to set my blocks among my
hand painted fabric
and add a pop of black and white just for fun.
Proverbs 17:17, "A friend loves at all times"
is embroidered by my signature block.
Hand quilted. Hand dyed fabrics.
20 inches X 15 1/2 inches.

Happy Anniversary Tim & Ashley - No Longer Two But One

I created this  Art  Wall Hanging for my son, Tim and his bride Ashley.
I added the heart block to a purchased pattern
No Longer Two But One PDF Pattern And Tutorial - Matthew 19:6 Wedding Gift Clergy Stoles
Since then, I've created several pieces of art using the
"No longer two but one" heart design and
have created a pattern for sale from it.
It's so fun to see it hanging in their home.

Quilting Companion - Susa

Susa, is a sweet  quilting companion
when I sit under the plum tree and hand quilt.
She's also a great greeter when human quilting companions visit.

Vintage Hand Applique Girls In The Rain

This vintage  hand appliqued hand embroidered piece
was gifted to me and I'm pondering how to
use it in a wall art hanging.  Should I simply
quilt it as is or add blocks around it?  Suggestions?

Cross Body Red Purse

I've created my purses for many years and recently wanted a "new" red purse.
I recreated this simple cross body  red purse from another quilted project,
added a zipper pocket, and an Ultrasuede strap.
It's just the right size to carry the essentials. .

Little Seed From Lysa Terkeurst 's Book It Will Be Okay

One of my Berlin grandsons' favorite book is
(Little Seed & Little Fox)
by Lysa Terkeurst.
I mean they really like it.
So in preparation for their furlough to the states,
my daughter suggested I create
them each a "Little Seed" from the book.
I am excited to give them when I see my grandsons
whom I haven't seen except on Skype in a year.

Screen Fiber Thread Catcher

While cleaning my studio today,
I quickly sewed this
Screen Fiber Thread Catcher
with Velcro so it can be portable.
It's much nicer than the plastic baggie
I had taped to my sewing table....smile.
Maybe I should make another one.

Children Are A Gift

I tidied up a small bulletin board where I pin various "pieces" of art.
This machine writing was to be for a different project but it didn't fit.
This beautiful piece was a gift when my name was drawn
from BaumCat.
Both are the right color for the recipient's decor.
What great timing as these 2 pieces will be the base
of a composition I want to create for a upcoming baby shower.
Stay tuned.

Black Thread Quilting On Black Fabric??

It blends well as to not detract from the
black hands but it's a bit challenging
to see in process. Am I crazy?
Oh, and it's actually navy quilting thread
since I ran out of black quilting thread.

"Renewing" $850

Preparing for a trip, I quickly cut circles from
blue, red and green batik fabrics to
hand applique in Bull's Eye Circles.
Those circles became "Trust In The Lord".
Of course there were extra fabrics which over time
were pieced into more Bull's Eye Circles.
Each year, in memory of a friend I create a completely
"Hand" piece.
"Renewing" is completely hand appliqued and hand pieced.
24 inches Wide X 39 1/2 inches Long.
