Purse In The Mail

Normally, for many years I have created my own purses,
but when I found the Etsy Shop of Julie Konetzki
who not only offers cute & affordable purses
and  her statement of
"easing the burden of adoption, one purchase at a time"
I ordered one right away.  It is beautiful!

Spirit/Wind Icon

 After searching for wind icons,
this is what I chose to embroider on the verse block
of my latest piece.  Now for the inside of the block.

A Little Help

Although the quilting is almost complete, I'm still praying for direction in how to complete the Scripture block (middle right) in this piece.  Maybe a symbol on the bottom section of the light blue?  Maybe wave type shapes to represent the Spirit? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Big Stitching Free Style Cobblestones

After it's beginnings in a workshop I taught demonstrating
Free Style Cobblestone blocks,
I'm trying out Big Stitch instead of regular hand quilting
on this blue and green wall hanging.
Since I chose to use a really thick craft thread -
a variegated blue color
threading the needle is the hardest part.

Orange & Black Change Purse

Another of the 4 left of the change purses
with key chain.
I  began creating them these change purses several years ago
for my daughter who wanted something small
 instead of a  regular purse.
I've since created many and use them myself.
I use mine in my purse but it's also easy to
just take it along in my pocket.
Orange batik on black with
whimsical machine quilting.
