 I completed this Art Quilt Bird House for Day 219 A Block A Day Challenge 

and delivered it to it's new owner who already has placed it with her sweet bird decor.

For the 30 Day Art Challenge Day 7: Create something reflecting on "Beauty for Ashes" 

I worked more on this orange flower collage on blue batik. 

This flower shape I designed has a long story behind it and the first 3 times I created with it the Lord was speaking that He would bring beauty out of that painful time - ashes.

 I even titled one of the pieces, "a crown of beauty instead." 

This time, the Lord actually redeemed the flower shape into beauty

 not representing ashes. Redemption - how sweet.
