"Y Stitching | Circle Quilt

Blessed Sunday everyone! These orange circles 

remind me a bit of the beautiful sunrise this morning. 

I added blue "Y" Stitches to make 

the circle section more prominent.

Plates For Circle Templates

 

There's something fun about using
what you already have to create something new.
How simple to rotary cut around various sized plates

for circle shapes because they are relatively thin. 

As for the much thicker pizza stone and clear bowl...not so much...

although it does offer a nice circle to trace.

A new piece has begun of neutral grays

accented with red, black and white batik circles

cut using plates and bowls.

Circle Quilt in NE Ohio

Raw edge circles were sewn to a same fabric pieced background for this innovative quilt.

I liked it so much that I'm considering creating one myself.
