Happy Sunday! | Goodbye Zinnias

Happy Sunday!

Embracing Fall means pulling out frost bitten Zinnias

and being thankful for saved seeds ready to plant in Spring.

Note my assistant, Susa.

A friend asked me this week how was I doing with Fall.

Well, I'm still embracing it and am loving the uniqueness of the changing leaves

Laggard Hummingbird

A hummingbird surprisingly is still here

even with the temperatures dipping into the low 60's today.

A "laggard"  as my friend Heather states.

Orange & Embracing Fall This Year

There's a lot of folks happy that Fall is approaching.

 Me....Summer is my fave.

But this year, I am choosing to embrace Fall head on.

And although I love colorful leaves,

I am choosing to be thankful for cooler weather,

gardens ending, wearing closed toed shoes, jackets and Orange.

Who's with me?
