"Grace" Is Ready For My Etsy Shop

No photo description available.
I finished "Grace" which was begun as part of an Art Challenge
using a limited palate.
I only used bits and pieces already waiting
on my design wall from previous projects.
Lots of hand embroidery, an organza dress and
"Grace" is ready for my Etsy Shop.
Mounted on a black 10" x 10" wood panel.

2019 Yellow Christmas Star Ornaments | Joy Hope Grace Shine

No photo description available.
Keeping surprises is hard. Especially commissioned pieces
that I cant share until the recipients receive them for Christmas.
(I'll share photos then.)
No photo description available.
But until then, as I'm finishing up projects and commissions early this year

I wanted to share my 2019 Ornaments that are also ready.

I like to celebrate each holiday one at a time.
I also like to plan ahead so I can truly enjoy that time. T
hat said, here's the beginnings of my Christmas ornaments: "Shine", "Joy", "Hope" & "Grace"
hand stamped on fabric.

Day 5 Your 30-Day Art Challenge & Day 34 A Block A Day Challenge

No automatic alt text available.
Prompt for Day #5:
Open the Bible, choose a scripture at random
and create art from that inspiration.
I randomly chose 2 Kings 5:18
Seemed like an odd verse at first but after meditating
and seeking the Lord, He gave me the word "grace".
Watercolor - something new for me.
This is such a fun teal batik fabric
which is paired with a modeled dark green batik.
Just a few more blocks and I will begin quilting this...
machine or hand ?
