Bird Needs A Tail

I'm still not happy with this bird and have

sketched several tail options.

I am thinking a different shaped bird completely.

Suggestions?

Off With The Tail

Funny how what the artist may see is not what others see

in the art piece.  I didn't realize until it was pointed out to me

that this hand appliqued bird looks a bit lit a mouse 

due to the spiraled tail.

OK....off with the tail.
