When my 9 year old granddaughter gave me this drawing
, I knew right away it was a great composition and I planned to use it for a Fiber Art piece.
During the #ayearinstitches & April Art Daily challenges,
I hand embroidered the batik fabric pieces in collage style,
added accents and finally machine quilted it.
She loves it....me too.
