As part of Surface Design Group fun,
we hand pained silk scarfs using a gelli plate technique.
What fun to add various sized circles, bicycle shapes and other
fun surprises that transformed this once all white scarf
into a special red one.
Today's block is created from one of the first batik fabrics I ever purchased.
It's hard to see but the design is a zebra amid the purple and pink dyes.
Paired with a whimsical green and blue polka dot batik,
this Free Style Cobblestone block will be near the edge of my bed quilt.
