Purple Earrings

While visiting my favorite daughter, we spent time at a beading shop where I picked out some unique purple stones and arranged them and my daughter assembled them for me. What fun to be creative together.

Mountain Landscape

Fall is SO beautiful here in Western North Carolina mountains.  This fun and whimsical Quilted Landscape includes a beaded tree, 3D frogs in the water, ruched, pieced and woven fabric mountains was just added to my ETSY shop. 

"The LORD Is My Shephed" (finished - really!)

After suggestions of adding ears and a black outline of the sheep and also my signature, this piece is finished - really - as finished as it's going to get!

Beads Added And Verse Prepared

Only a little progress on this piece yesterday but HEY - yesterday was a Nana Day and Nana Days are mostly about playing with my granddaughter! What fun!

Subtleties

Adding tiny aqua beads to the neckline (front and back) of this thrift store find adds just just a touch of fun.

Almost Finished

The machine quilting is complete;

screen swirl beaded in place,

signature added and now for framing.
