At our recent Asheville Modern Quilt Guild meeting,
Elizabeth Garlington stated that she felt when using solid fabrics
that there was "no where to hide".
I've pondered that quite a bit since I mainly use batik fabrics.
Now as I quilt this Wall Art piece that is primarily gray fabric,
I am understanding her thoughts better.

I never thought about it that way but it's true. No pattern to forgive a missed stitch. The threads show well on solids but then they show everything. LeeAnna at not afraid of color
