Border Auditions

The photo on the left is auditioning 3 different batik options -
either a Spring green (shown on bottom)
light green with vines, (shown on bottom right)
or a multicolored green and orange. (shown on top and top right)
The photo on right shows a somewhat moss green batik.
I'm leaning toward the moss green batik.

What about something blue or red? 2 options are really light and the third one is really busy for the quilt. I like the quilt!

I like the fabric that appears as a solid, is that the mossy green? I think the busy-ness of the quilt needs a calm border.

I like the mossy green the best but I'm not sure if it is strong enough, does it add anything? Do you have a more textured batik in just a little bit darker shade? Green and brown are the 2 best neutrals.

I agree with the other ladies...the green is pretty, but I think it's not dark enough for the quilt(unless it's darker in person). The multi-colored piece is too busy. Nice quilt. I LOVE your new quilt with the hand-dyes!

I love green, and I like the green with vines the best. I like how it adds some brightness to the quilt. Maybe you could add a darker border after this one to tie it all together?
