 Pears and strawberries from the freezer purreed

and dried in the dehydrator yielded yummy fruit leathers.

A day trip to the mountain town of Burnsville, NC with a group of quilting friends was such fun.  One friend purchased this fish created by John. D. Richards.

Oatmeal, Sage & Pine Soap Circles

A quart sized vinegar bottle was the

circular mold for my latest batch of soap.

Oatmeal, sage and pine essential oils.

4-6 weeks seems a long time to wait for it to cure.

FAA Show & Tell

Sally created this wonderful piece from hand dyed fabrics

in a class with Patsy Thompson.

I didn't catch the name of this piece's creator

but it combines her Girl Scout sash with the sleeve

of her mom's uniform with the patches sewn on,

along with her hat and a photo.  Great memories.
