No automatic alt text available.
The darker blue shell fabric was purchased
at a tiny quilt shop in Warren, Ohio
while visiting my daughter who lived
there at the time.  Good memories.

St. Patrick's Day Banner & Day 66 A Block A Day Challenge

I've had this idea in my head for awhile
and finished up my St. Patrick's Day banner today.
St. Patrick used the symbol of the three leaf clover to teach the message of the
God Head, or Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit).
3 Bull's Eye Blocks today
for my twin bed quilt.

Day 65 A Block A Day Challenge | Muscles Healing

While my quilting hand muscles continue to rest and heal,
I'm creating 2 more Bull's Eye Blocks for the Twin Bed Quilt
in my commercial fabrics is quite fun.
I estimated I'll need 64 blocks...only 60 more to create.

Subtle Trust In The Lord Quilted Art Wall Hanging

Trust In The Lord Proverbs 3:5 Quilted Art Wall Hanging
is completely hand pieced and quilted and won a ribbon in a Quilt Show competition.
Several blue, green, red and black & white batik fabrics combine in thid contemporary version of a traditional Bull's Eye design surrounded borders of blue and then green. One block is left uncut where "Trust in the Lord with all your heart" Proverbs 3:5 is hand embroidered in a circular fashion for a bit more whimsy.
This quilted art wall hanging measuring approximately 32 inches X 32 inches would be special for Christmas but also perfect for year round display. Hanging sleeve attached makes it ready to hang.

Batik Circles

Lots of batik circles that were cut from the back

Bull's Eye Progress

Hand piecing is a slow yet rewarding process.
Row 3 of 4 has begun.
Each section is first carefully marked with a quarter inch seam.
Slow progress is still progress!

Updated Bull's Eye Layout

Rearranging blocks to form a secondary design,
now I'm seeking options for the "plain" block
~ 3rd row 3rd over~
to feature a verse hand embroidered around the outer circle.
I'd appreciate other's perspectives.
I've almost ruled out the yellow block entirely.
Thoughts ....suggestions....please?
