Plates For Circle Templates

 

There's something fun about using
what you already have to create something new.
How simple to rotary cut around various sized plates

for circle shapes because they are relatively thin. 

As for the much thicker pizza stone and clear bowl...not so much...

although it does offer a nice circle to trace.

A new piece has begun of neutral grays

accented with red, black and white batik circles

cut using plates and bowls.

Reversible Quilted Clergy Liturgical Art Stole For Ordinary Times, Advent or Christmas

This original stole has a curved neck that is a comfortable 2 inches and the stole tapers out to be 4 3/4 inches at the bottom. It measures 43 inches in length measuring from the back of the neck.
What a great gift to show appreciation to one who feeds your soul. Machine quilted in green cotton thread. It is wonderful for Ordinary Times.

hand painted fabrics and color lifted fabrics. 

Machine Quilted in purple cotton thread.

Creative Heritage - Advent Candle Holder

 Every Christmas for several years, my Dad

would create something useful for each of us 7 "kids".

I use this candle holder he fashioned from

chair railing to celebrate Advent.
