Knitted Wool Sock Progress & Tip

Thanks Donna for helping me learn to knit "toe up" socks with this fun purple yarn purchase while visiting my daughter. Changing from the Magic Loop method to 2 circular needles has been a challenge but I like it.
Tip: Notice the yarn feeding from 2 holes snipped in the bottom corners of the plastic bag.

00 Circilar Needles??

Last pair - OK only pair of knitted socks I made, I used the Magic Loop method using a very long size 00 circular knitting needles.
NOW - I want to try a different method using 2 of the 00 circular needles that are about 16inches in length.  Anyone have some they want to sell at a reasonable price??
Wishing ACMoore or Michael's carried that small of size
so I could use a 40% off coupon.

Heels Complete - Woohoo!

I was reminded recently that the tortoise always wins the race with the hare in the children's tale.  That's a bit how I feel about these wool knitted socks.  I'm already considering more yarn for then next pair.

Thanks Lori! & Wool Sock Update

Slow but sure progress on knitting wool socks.  They are both on the same long circular needle and I'm dropping hardly any stitches lately!  I'm wondering if Robyn at the yarn shop is missing me popping by for regular help.....Robyn if you read this I'd enjoy having your email.
Thanks Lori for these cute treat bag tags and bags that I won from her recent blog give away.  Lori is a gifted artist and very generous too.

Guess it was an "orange" and "pink" day playing in the batik remnant bin creating Free Style Cobblestones.
Knitting wool socks update: Progress being made and next is to get info on how to get them both on the same set of long needles.

Sock Progress?

These tiny stitches are a challenge and somewhere I dropped one on the back side a couple of rows ago. UGH!   The ladies at the yarn shop said not to do anything but bring it in....hmm ..when to do that?

These supplies, 0 size needles, wool yarn and hand written directions from with a sock knitting friend at Fiber Arts Alliance group will hopefully yield some wonderfully warm and durable wool socks.  Stay tuned.
