#51- this knitted hat was a challenge for me as my More Blessed To Give personal challenge nears the end of 2010. I'm praying if the Lord wants me to continue this challenge in 2011 and if so what are the details.
Congrats to Jean and Deborah whose names were drawn.
Please send your mailing address and
I'll get a book out to you right away.
First one I hear from gets to choose a book first!
Slow but sure progress on knitting wool socks. They are both on the same long circular needle and I'm dropping hardly any stitches lately! I'm wondering if Robyn at the yarn shop is missing me popping by for regular help.....Robyn if you read this I'd enjoy having your email.
Thanks Lori for these cute treat bag tags and bags that I won from her recent blog give away. Lori is a gifted artist and very generous too.
Motivation to create more often is what began this blog however through the venture there have been some unexpected blessings. I've "met" and been inspired by so many wonderful artists and even actually met with some of them. I've learned some new technical skills even though I have a long way to go. And it's been fun to get opinions on my art to further it along. It's been quite the adventure. Thanks for stopping by and leave a comment to be entered for the drawing for this fun Spring Fabric Bowl. Drawing ends April 1st - no fooling.
After sewing pieces of fabric together, I sew onto a remnant of fabric to "hold" the threads. I use this "mouse" until the original remnant is barely recognizable and full of threads. I then cut them to a fun shape for an embellishments on an art quilt or hand made card. They would make a fun label pin as well. Leave a message to be in the Give Away for both of these heart shaped "mice."
