Oak Tree acorns are plentiful this year

in our neighborhood and squirrels are busy.

A perfect time for sewing together this side of what will be a

4 Fun Oak leafs stamped onto batik fabric hand stamped with swirl stamp.

Embroidered with red floss. 4 inches X 4 inches.

I received the sad news today that my application was

not accepted into the Southern Highland Guild.

Part of a group challenge to only use fabrics from our remnant bin,

I dove into my batik pieces and had a great deal

of fun creating this brown and blue whiimsical art piece.

Pray Continually - I Thessalonians 5:17 is hand embroidered

and the oak leaves are hand appliqued.
