Purple Green Bird Wall Quilt | April Art Daily

April 2 - I enjoy hearing the birds sing on my walks and

recently with the windows open when it was unseasonably warm.

This whimsical bird is completely hand created including lots of colorful hand quilting.

I'm hosting April Art Daily and would love for you

to go to over to April Art Daily

and post your creative photo in the comments.

Bird Art Miniature

It's OK to first finish a 4"x 6" art piece

 using remnants of a larger piece....right? 😁

Bird Stamp | Berlin Park Inspiration

I made a stamp inspired by a bird I saw

at a park playground in Berlin.

Stamping in onto fabric seemed the perfect addition

for this multicolored 10" x 10" collage.

"Strong Bird" Quilted Post Card

Breathing new life into remnants makes my heart sing. As I randomly added remnants of 3 different projects onto one 4" × 6" background, a bird shape appeared unintentionally. "Strong Bird" .

This size Quilted Art easily goes through the mail with a hand canceled postage stamp!

Update on Team Bailey Bird

Hi, Bailey here. Today I went to my first ballet class in two and a half years, with my favorite ballet teacher. It felt great and it was something of my old normal life that I wanted to get back to because I’ve been missing it. It made me so happy! I just got home and I am so happy that I just can’t stop smiling. I’m so thankful that I’m able to do what I love again and with people that support me.
