"Tweet Trio" - Ribbon At The Fair

Each year I create an "All Hand" composition

in memory of my friend Joy and enter it into the

WNC State Fair.  

This year, I combined 3 individual birds  from the April Art Daily 2016 Challenge

onto a hand quilted batik background .
Measuring 21 inches X 25 inches. - $375

The individual birds are from 

Day 14 - Screen Bird,

Day 27 Seed Stitched Bird

 Day 6 - "STRENGTH".

The "Tweet Trio" came home with a 3rd place ribbon. 

These birds are entered into the Asheville Quilt Show
