Surface Design Workshop Fiber Art Collage Completed

Purposeful askew edges bound with soft 

edge strips complete this collage 

that began in a Surface Design Group experimentation.

Surface Design With Gelli Plates | Fiber ART Collage

I met recently with a newly formed Surface Design group
where we tried out Gelli printing using 
a Gelli plate, textile paint and various
objects and shapes. I am creating a Fiber Art
Collage from my pieces where I used resists of thread spools, 
 a potato masher,  bubble wrap,mesh and doily stencils.
Slow stitching these hand painted pieces together is 
very relaxing.
