Rusted Fabric Challenge - "Redeemed Remnant" ?

I am getting back to this rust dyed fabric collage that
I have heavily embroidered.
Instead of traditional machine attached binding,
I chose to keep this composition totally 100% hand created.
So, hand torn orange batik fabric was attached by hand

with 3 strands teal DMC Running Stitch & Cross Stitch.
You can view the process here, here & here.

Day 331 #Ayearinstitches

No automatic alt text available.
Hard to believe  #ayearinstitches - stitching daily
is almost complete for 2017.
It's been a good practice and I'm pondering next year.

Rust Dying Fabric | Orange....Me?

Image may contain: food
Day 317 #ayearinstitches
A fiber artist friend challenged our group to rust dye
a remnant from the mill her relatives ran many years ago.
I gathered tomato paste and cans and lids
and put my piece outside,
prayed with vinegar and waited for the elements to create design.
Several days later I looked and the fabric was
under a layer
of red clay silt from recent rains and very orange.
 After several washings,
it's ready for embroidery layered on batik fabrics.
2 strands teal Running Stitch and Cross Stitch.

Blueberry Twig Inspiration For Rust Dyed Quilted Art

I'm auditioning a Blueberry Twig for a possible
hand embroidered twig shape to complete this piece.
Hand rust dyed fabrics, hand applique and embroidery,
machine quilted.
Thoughts as to title, and if the twig design adds or overpowers??
